Kaity K is a Las Vegas transplant from Chicago, Illinois, She has always heard a
calling from The Arts as she was born into a theatrical family.
Growing up, she was involved in school musicals and plays, her other childhood
hobbies included Gymnastics, Tae Kwon Do and Cheerleading which helped shape her flow into what it is today.
Kaity has been hooping since 2012 and in 2013 she was certified as a Hoopnotica Hula Hoop Dance
and Fitness Instructor. Whether she is performing at festivals, teaching Hoop class or spinning in circles for fun,
she often says the “Circle of Life” is what connects us all.
In November of 2017 she successfully completed 200-hours of teacher training and is
registered with Yoga Alliance.
JAMhoops asked Kaity K:
How do you integrate Flow Arts into your daily life?
“Flexibility of the body and mind has brought an openness to change in my life.
Yoga keeps me grounded and hooping keeps my creative spirit lifted.
Maybe it comes with age and experience, but the little things don’t bother me anymore.
When a difficult situation arises, I often tell myself to go with the flow.”
